An Indispensable Necessity
Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek and require the Lord, as their indispensable necessity. Seek, inquire of and for the Lord, and crave Him and His strength; seek and require His face and His presence evermore.
Psalm 105:3-4
Is the Lord a requirement in your life? Is He an indispensable necessity? Do you crave Him? Or is His involvement in your life based on convenience and circumstance? Do you need and want Him?
Sometimes even as a Spirit-filled Christian in ministry, I get into complacency and I lose my craving for the Lord. My relationship with him becomes routine and religious instead of spontaneous and passionate. Do you know that it's okay to pray for God to give you hunger, to stir up desperation and passion within your spirit?
Begin to pray that God would increase your hunger for more of Him in your life. Begin to cry out "God, break me of complacency, I must have more of You.".
Fight the blinding and numbing attack of the devil with a burning, passionate desire for more of the Lord. Crave Him, He IS your indispensable necessity!
