The Experience

Our desire is for you to experience a powerful transformation that will impact your life and further reveal your calling. The Experience was created to provide an answer to the ministerial reality of being a missionary during a short-term school. Mission schools have amazing trainings, excellent teachers, and incomparable experiences, but students often return home and quickly realize that they lacked the experience of what the daily life of a missionary looks like. As a result, the students do not grasp the full picture of life on the missions field after the school.

The dynamic of our 3-month school is different. From day 1, you will be treated as a missionary and will be part of our team of volunteers. One of our full-time missionaries will be your mentor and will be with you throughout the school. You will assist them with the work they do at Shores of Grace. Once you have completed The Experience, you may be offered the opportunity to intern with us. This means you become a part of our Shores of Grace staff for a month with your lodging provided. All students will also have the opportunity to go on an international, national, or local mission trip.
