Vila Betânia

Bethany Villa is a home for girls from the age of 0 to 18 and boys up to 2 years of age in the city of Jaboatão dos Guararapes in Pernambuco, Brazil, a neighboring city of Recife. In Brazil, Bethany is an institution and ministry under Shores of Grace Ministries, guided by the Statute of Children and Adolescents. The home is a place of safety and recuperation where our team, consistently trained, takes care of the girls in an environment of love and encouragement. We have a team of professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and caretakers who work to ensure that the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of each girl are met.

Our team works together with the regional children’s court and with social workers to determine if the possibility for reintegration with biological family exists.

This is our hope for each girl that comes to Bethany Villa: that their family could be restored and they could be safely reunited. In the cases where reunification is not possible, we work with the regional children’s court to seek out other options, including adoption. We desire that each girl receives love and care with professional excellence, no matter the amount of time they spend with us. We firmly believe in a combination of spiritual development and excellence in psychology, therapy, and education. While these girls encounter the love of the Father at Bethany Villa, they will also have a team of professionals supporting them and working to restore and protect their rights and futures.
